Sonic Construction

Jon Drummond’s Sonic Construction (2004- ) uses the movement of coloured dye through liquid to shape the instrument’s sounds.

As with Drummond’s other work Sounding the Winds, these instruments consist of systems that allow the performer only limited control over the shape and progression of sounds produced.
