Highly Resonant Object
Built in 2000, the Highly Resonant Object (HRO) was the first of many metallic, electro acoustic instruments to be built by Rod Cooper.
clatterbox is currently editing profiles for all of Rod Cooper’s musical instruments (about a dozen at last count). More info on the Highly Resonant Object and other instruments will be available on this site soon.
In the meantime here’s a video recording of Rod Cooper performing on the Highly Resonant Object at The Frequency Lab: Surry Hills, Sydney, Australia (2005). Video and edit by clatterbox.
